Chowder Feed 2021 ACW style

Apparently, It’s not cool to name and play with your food before you eat it! Meet Jaws and Pinchy, they were delicious.  Living in the Midwest I don’t get the opportunity to shuck lobsters so when asked to help, I jumped right in.  It was a thank-you dinner for Art to Change the World patrons who contributed $500 or more.  I had a blast photographing and talking with patrons of this non-profit.

Enjoy some of the images I captured while at the event.

Pallet Mountain

Pallet Mountain
My soul’s need to wonder led me to wonder about the industrial areas of Minneapolis and Saint Paul wanting to challenge my vision to photograph landscapes that I normally wouldn’t even take a second look at.  I viewed this as a man trying to create their mountain.  Were they trying to pay their respects to Mother Nature or something more deviant?
Danger in the Woods
Danger in the Woods

Danger in the Woods has never looked so inviting but don’t be fooled by its beauty as Danger is not far away.  I found this sign warning me of the appending Danger of the cliff’s edge.  This sign needs to heed its own message.

Waiting for my Love

Waiting for my Love comes from two souls that found each other in human form; spending their days together as one.  Until one day she passes on separating them into two.  She lays patiently waiting for her true love to join her again.

Rainy Lake Calm video

Published

This is the start of my work in progress video for Rainy Lake Calm – photozaic sized small

Story of image:

On the first day of my trip to Rainy Lake, I was heading to a Surf and turf party with other Rainy Lakers.  I was able to explore the island and see what captured my interest.  I could tell that the sunset was going to be great, so I decided to sit on the floating dock and set up the equipment just waiting for the sun to set.

ADP Project (Arts District Palette)

Published

Since joining Art to change the world (ACW) I’ve been blessed to collaborate alongside artists, business owners, educators, and elected officials on the ADP Project (Arts District Palette)- where Artists and neighbors mix.

Clay squared to infinity studio was the location where a great group of volunteers bagged all the goodies that were donated by local establishments.

The Huxely is the location where we dropped off the goodie bags for new tenants moving in to develop relationships in the NE Arts District Community.https://www.minneapolismn.gov/government/city-council/ward-1/

Thank you, Kevin Reich,
