Venice Canal
would like to share details about a recent commission I completed for a young couple. The husband wanted to surprise his wife for her birthday—how thoughtful is that? The gentleman visited my studio and inquired whether I take commissions. I confirmed that I do, and he then showed me pictures of the Venice Canals, asking if I create architectural scenes. I was excited about the opportunity, as I have been looking to develop an urban scene for a new project involving my signature commando photozaic technique.
He provided a reference photo, and I will share the progression of the artwork’s creation. The wife was thrilled with the finished piece; he sent me a photo of her holding it, her face radiating happiness—moments like these reaffirm why I pursue my craft. Please note that I am not sharing her image out of respect for personal privacy.
Alaskan Lupine- for the Bria family
In folklore and mythology, lupines are associated with various symbolic meanings, including imagination, creativity, and renewal. Lupines, when given as a gift, tells the receiver that a positive outlook leads to the discovery of new opportunities- may the next journey in life be filled with more joy and happiness (if that’s possible).
